Wheee!!! No Jam!!! School Holidays!!!

June 4, 2009

Clueless me didn’t realize it was school holidays until someone told me that yesterday. I was wondering why driving had been heavenly these few days. This morning, traffic in PJ was less than half its usual strength. Driving was smooth. I’m lovin’ it.

‘Cuz you know what that means? I can sleep an extra 20 minutes, yay! Or watch tv a bit longer before I hit the road to work.

Why can’t it be like this every day. πŸ™‚

Which brings me to the question for the day.

Why don’t parents let their kids go to school on a bus? No, not the public bus. Those private yellow schoolbuses. Aren’t they a lot cheaper than filling up cars with gasoline just to ferry the kids to school and back? Or do parents simply enjoy spending money and creating chaos on the roads?

(Now of course parents could ask the same thing too. Why can’t us working folks take the bus to go to work rather than create chaos on the roads?)

mmm…not much difference for me since i reach office at 7.30am and go back at 4pm. πŸ˜›

but i think parents are afraid of school buses (private or public) because they’re worried their kids might learn bad things from other bad students…or get bullied..mugged… or more prone to dangerous stunts from the bus drivers, etc.

7.30-4? Working for the govt now eh? πŸ™‚

“they’re worried their kids might learn bad things from other bad students…”

Isn’t that what they learn in the schoolyard anyway? πŸ˜›

The school has school teachers. So it should be “better” πŸ˜€

Nolar, not gov. Just flexible working time (for now).

So you’ve started your new job already. I hope you’re a lot happier now. πŸ˜€
